OSHA 10-Hour Voluntary Compliance Course

About the Program

The "OSHA 10-Hour Voluntary Compliance Course," presented by the Indiana Manufacturers Association, will detail how OSHA regulations may be implemented in the workplace, with a focus on the most frequently referenced standards. Also included will be rights and responsibilities under the act, voluntary protection programs and a special hazard recognition segment. All participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. You Will Learn To: • Locate and apply OSHA standards, policies and procedures, and regulations to existing safety and health programs • Identify violation of OSHA standards • Describe abatement procedures • Conduct internal training on OSHA regulations

Registration

Fees include a light breakfast, lunch, refreshments and the OSHA Standards for General Industry and What Every Supervisor Must Know About OSHA General Industry books. Cost is $399 for IMA members and $499 for nonmembers.

Successful Course Completion All participants will receive an official 10-Hour wallet card from the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA, as well as a certificate of completion from IMA. Faculty This seminar is presented by Gary Gokey. Gary has been working with Safety Management Group (SMG) since 2002 and is a part of the Safety Services team. He is an authorized instructor through the OSHA Training Institute OSHA Outreach Training Program and has been delivering the OSHA General Industry 10- and 30-Hour Outreach Course for several years. He has received SMG's Customer Service Triumph Achievement Award (unsolicited client feedback) every year for his exemplary service to clients. Gary received his Associate in Applied Science Degree in Civil Engineering, an Associate in Risk Management, and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Gary's prior employment includes positions as: Senior Loss Control Consultant for Hartford Insurance, Loss Control Consultant for American States Insurance Company (SAFECO), Senior Loss Control Representative for Acuity Insurance and Senior Risk Control Consultant for St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company.
